Well will have my 1st robin hood in a few days Its got the sliding pillar arrangement. rumour has it theres can be problematic. What do i need to do to keep on top of it . Or can i change to another set up In the identifictaion page here http://nw.rhocar.org/identification.htm its shows a modded set up. Where would i get this from ,and any idea of costs and work involved

Well after a warm welcome to the forum,mark invited me up to look at his orange 2b and see if i could fit inside it He has also answered calls and texts from me regarding all sorts of random questions. Anyway he spotted a 2b on ebay and gave me a heads up. Today after a 6 hour round trip i dropped a deposit on it Really doesnt need anything spending on it, except a roof. it has some home made 'bikini roof' the guy called it. Think of it as a small shower cap keep rain off ya head but nowt else. 2 litre pinto on a dgas carb.5 speed. stainless exhaust and manifold and tank, 4 new tyres. only done 40 miles since may mot. loads of build pics and videos. well happy, got it being transported while im at work should have by the weekend

Ive had a few types of carbon wrap for bits and bobs. 3m is the best to work with. Had some cheap stuff from ebay of late. max autos seems better stuff than others. If ya need any help give us a shout.

Hi guys. im looking at a 2b hood. It has brand new never fitted wet weather gear, but guy has lost the frame in a house move whats the expected cost of a new frame work, so i can knock this off the cost of the car

Not good news. the car was really nice, but being a lanky sod i couldnt fit in. I sat in marks 2b this week and was ok ,but this was a mark 2 from 1998 monocoque chassis. was just no room for me. so im on the lookout again

Id say its just from short runs dude. dont worry too much yet . the e46s are well known to create condensation on short runs. If you worried give it an oil change see how it goes. Ive currently got a e46 330 and have had bmws and been on forums for 8 years

my mate just bought an astra estate on a p reg for 150. needs tax and a test ,but is proper tidy and reliable. somet cheap and basic is what ya need.
