  1. Tesla would make a superb daily driver to be fair.
  2. Was out at the mids meet tonight so didn’t get chance to share the link to this weeks video until now. In this one I finish off repairing the bonnet and get both boot and bonnet painted ready to go on the car
  3. Sarah would go and buy a Porsche Cayenne. I’d go and buy a workshop with plenty of room for storing cars and probably end up with lots of project cars rather an expensive car.
  4. Code is PAID20 with max discount of £75, retailers include demon tweeks, jjc race and rally and others! Definitely worth a look if after any bits.
  5. It can be as smart or as dumb as you want. The dumbest being a push button and you get your full hit, the smartest having options like ramp up period after reaching the activation point with cut offs based on wide band readings etc, and varying levels based of nitrous based on throttle position etc. Most applications though just stick with above X throttle ramp in to full shot over Y seconds

    Upset

No problem Mark, it has raised an interesting issue. On your profiles we allow you to set a public email address visible to other members, however, changing this doesnt change the email address associated with your account, and actually, I am not sure right now how you as end users can do that. Once for me to have a look at.

    FUEL TANK

Pretty sure I have a new unused sender I bought from GBS years ago

    FUEL TANK

I had the same tank setup, managed to get a good enough seal I was pulling a massive vacuum in the tank! That was using robin hood filler neck, though I think was after I swapped to efi so was the landrove intank setup, which again was just push fit on a rubber seal.
  9. Given this is in maintenance and modifications I gotta go with...
  10. Was called the lolocost wasn’t it?
  11. Seems I forgot what my own release schedule was when i posted last week, so no engine mounting today, instead you get to see me starting work on repairing the scrap yard fibreglass bonnet. The more I work on this bonnet, the more I have come to realise, it really wasnt as good as it looked in the photos, and realistically it wasnt worth the "saving" over buying a new one. Having said that, if I had bought a new one then I wouldnt have had much I could get on with while the car is still at my mates, so in a way, it has been quite nice to have this to focus on during the weekday evenings when i cant get over to work on the rest of the car.
  12. Worth checking inner lower seatbelt mount too as there wasn’t a factory point for them.
  13. @phaeton thanks for the heads up - I don’t drink so not an issue for me, but good to know all the same! i actually have the red kite centre down as a possible last stop on the journey down there on the Saturday.
  14. £8, though can’t post now until next week.
  15. Yes, although the tip wont fit the silencer.
  16. Ah in that case than man you are looking for is @alanrichey
  17. Thougt GBS was all mild steel and ali? Older Robin Hood cars though you are absolutely right as they were mostly stainless.
  18. I was half joking. The arc welder they sell also says it should be witted with a 32a commercial plug etc, but I wired it to a 13a plug got away with it. Realistically I wont be buying one of these though.
  19. Its 7pm (ish) on a Wednesday, so it's new video time! In this weeks video we finish making the 100e a roller again! We make a custom panhard bar, make brackets for the front suspension components, and finalise the steering setup. For such a mix match of components it has all gone together surprisingly well and even the ride heights are close enough to make it work so this is the first big milestone ticked off. Next week we'll be ticking off another milestone, getting the engine and gearbox properly mounted in the car.
  20. You'll need to give us some more details in order to help. What is the engine setup? What ecu is it running?
  21. neither does their welder, until you fit a 13a plug
  22. I'm not sure what I am ever going to use it for, but I need it

    GBS Plenum

It's also not an ideal place for it, so personally would just block it up.
