  1. Wondered what seats people use in there S7s? Particular those people who, like me, carry a bit of extra padding... Also interested in how you fitted them and if they went through sva/IVA?

    Old Electrics

Can't believe this many replies and no one asked what gear you have m?
  3. Tries to send you a message paul but for following error The following errors were found Array This personal message has not been sent I would be very interested in details for getting an s7 through IVA.
  4. Found the thread on locost http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/forum/29/viewthread.php?tid=176858# Looks like I need to reconsider my build...
  5. Sorry I thought this was a registered car that the previous owner kept the v5. I'm surprised to hear that people think it is so simple to pass IVA with a mono, and would be interested in the thread about the one that passed recently. If it is possible I might need to reconsider the finishing of my build.
  6. I am reliably informed (and will be purchasing myself) that the fiat 124 mastercylinder is the ideal replacement and is available here http://brakeparts.co.uk/ for around 17quid

    Exmo For Sale

Absolute bargain for someone! If i hadnt got an s7 in bits in my garage I would snap your arm off for that!
  8. I hate to be the one to break this to you, but without the V5, you will likely never get that car on the road as it will not pass IVA (replacement for SVA). I have a list somewhere of areas that need strengthening but the one I remember off the top of my head is the steering column supports.
  9. Does your existing setup having an expansion tank?
  10. Can you not adjust your existing cycle wing brackets to accommodate the new off set?
  11. I have the ones from my s7 available as pictured below if these are any good to you?
  12. If you manage to make some would be interested in a photo as considered this myself.
  13. For cycle wings or clamshells? If cycle wings then I will probably buy the eBay ones that say not suitable for an s7 as I am told they can be made to fit.
  14. For me it would be paint, simply because I can and I make a mess with vinyl.
  15. Ah, unlike my own wife (and presumably yours?) this actually worked out cheaper than buying 4, even with petrol to go pick them up!
  16. I only really wanted the 4 wheels but ended up with a deal for 8 that I couldn't refuse!
  17. Was a bit worried how these would fit in, couldn't have asked for better
  18. Ive seen the ones on eBay but been told by the seller they won't fit. Where can I get some bolt on wing stays from that will fit my car? It's a sierra based s7 with inboard suspension.

    1.8 Pinto Tuning.

I'm in a similar boat, but with a 1.6. I've decided I will probably go ahead with my tuning plans as its bolt on bolt off parts that can be used on another (read 2.0) pinto later on when I eventually turn the boost up too high...
  20. MarkB you forget that Audi also make a hatchback that's as fast as their flagship, well as fast as the v8 anyway...

    Superspec Fuel Prime

Not sure a one way valve is the solution but if you did fit one you want it on the tank end to stop the fuel running back down the line. That's how I have my setup and works much better than it did before.
  22. Glad you made it over here. This place is great for robin hood specific advice.
  23. http://www.threecounties.co.uk/eventcalendar/index.php?classic-car-autojumble-weekend Any idea how much it is in? We went to the last one and it was about £7 each and not enough there to justify the costs.
  24. Some details of his experience in this thread http://www.rhocar.org/index.php?showtopic=33456&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1
  25. There are other people able to map it. I know rs tuning in Leeds also support it, though beyond that you would have to speak to TDF. There is a member on here with an EC1 on his st170 powered car, will see if I can find the link
