Soni had a throttle cable with my kit that fitted the throttle linkage and kind of fitted at the pedal box end, although it was loose and wold fall off. It's also in pretty poor condition so want to replace it. Problem is I can't find any that lOok the same as I have. My pedal box end has a ball type connector and the cable had a top hat type arrangement, although an open hoop may be a better option? After all that, what I want to know is what cable should I be buying?

Personally I would buy an MNR as I feel they offer the highest quality product and can provide a totally comprehensive kit (just add fluids!) which is what I would want. The MNR chassis is all round tube and IMO the chassis looks better put together than other manufacturers. I saw some chassis' at autosport that had some very ugly looking welds on them

Was talking to qwerty about this car today, can guarantee that having been mapped by TDF on their EC1 ecu that this will be a fantastic piece of kit. Matt at TDF has the Midas touch when it cones to engine control!

After replacing the VV carb with a weber 34 it was just ignition timing!

It was steam. Its not being run again now until the coolant system is out on, had a lot Of difficulties with it so was run like that to make stripping it out easier if itbwas required, which it's not

Angry grinder I have, tin snips I dont lol I gather I need to do the same for access to the back of the handbrake? As I think the cables not connected/adjusted correctly. As you have an S7, could you have a look at my thread below about harness mounting as well?

Should an S7 have a flat floor? How do you access the transmission tunnel for majntenace etc? Sorry if these are silly questions, problem with buying a part built kit!

Anyone got any photos of how they have installed harnesses in their S7 or other monocoque? Can the bar behind the seat be used for mounting the shoulder straps? How have you mounted the lap belts?

They can be made to fit but I'd suggest finishing it first and changing later, unless it's not got engine etc with it?

What pads did you get for £30??

I'm not a fully paid member on here (yet!) but I am on a couple of other forums/clubs. I much prefer the ability to have a look around and experience a club before paying for full membership.

My advice would be to put the box and engine in together, trying to get it line up is proving a pain.
