Interior Carpeting

I carpeted my interior last winter using black carpet that is usually used on speaker enclosures. It looked nice to start with, but soon started to wear thin as things rubbed up against it and looks tacky now. What sort of carpet do people use, and where do they get it from. I was thinking of somthing with a rubber type backing, hoping it mite last a bit longer....

Ive used actual car carpet that you can buy from the kitcar shows, 3 rolls of reasonably thick black carpet for £20

Im going to redo my whole interior with it as i initially only bought 1 roll it looked bigger than it was year before last, it was only enough to do the floor and tunnel, i used the speaker material to do the sides and back with and it doesnt wear very well.

I used proper automotive carpet from Coverdale carpets.
