Tiger Mirrors

anybody know where to get the nuts that fit these, as i bought a pair at stonleigh, and went to the bigest supplier of fastnings in our area (West Cumbria Fastenings) and they seem to be an odd thread.. 10x1.25 fine (metric) and they cant get nuts to fit.

 

any ideas gratefully accepted

Hi Trevor

When I bought mine from Tiger I asked about the nuts as the mirrors would look better with the supplied nuts mounted externally and an ordinary nut on the inside. They refused to sell me a further pair of nuts unless I bought a second pair of mirrors !

Reason given they come as matched set and the thread is a 'special'

Having searched all my local suppliers I gave up in the end and resorted to using the supplied nuts on the inside to secure the stems - as per Tiger themselves do !
