I can't believe it! The RAC Rally HQ is at the end of my street in Sunderland. Been down there for the start. The council have sponsored it but there's hardly any spectators. Someone forgot to publicise the event.

Imay be very wrong but this is the RogerAlbertClark rally not the original and sadly missed RAC rally which I marshalled on in the 70'sand 80's which has been replaced by the Rally GB held in Wales a week ortwo ago mowerman

Hi Ian I thought you may be along on this , it great to see this in the spirit of the orig but it will never quite replace it mick

 

Sadly Mick this is as far as the MSA will allow them to go!!

 

We will never see a day, night, day rally again.
