why did you need to take them off?

James beat me to the question....in general, how often do people need to take them off? Depending on how you attach them and why they need to be taken off, it can also be accomplished by unbolting them from the upright side, right?

i changed the colour of my car from dark purple (like the old cortina 1600E or ford corsair) to white. the old ones were cracked and crazed after years of stone abuse.. done now and they survived the first high speed run of the year yesterday!! now - why did i put the steering wheel on 15 degrees out - doh!!

Yep i glued mine aswell, haven't had any probs so far,

mines been like that so I got it change the bolts round and its the same way out the other way, am i right in thinking i need to move it round on the splined shaft?

maybe the steering rack is not central - check also the thread lengths of the track rod ends - they should be somewhere bear equal. but only do this once your sure the other options are ok
