North Yorkshire Moors Weekend Run

A repeat of last years fantastic weekend over the N.Yorkshire Moors but a slightly different route.

 

Meeting for a 10:00 am departure at the Little Chef car park at Redhill roundabout at the junction of the A60 and A614 just above Arnold, which is to the North of Nottingham.

Stopping off for lunch en route and expecting to arrive at the Lion Inn, Blakey Ridge at approx 3-4pm Saturday, pitch the tents behind the pub and then find the bar (hopefully it will be where it was last year ).

 

A superb evening meal with a pint or two then the (now compulsory) snoring contest through the night - our lady visitors will be welcome to join the contest !

 

Up with the larks for a fantastic 'all round the houses' breakfast (£5 last year) in the restaurant.

 

Break camp and head for the sea for a toe dipping session and a waffle with cream (or two) before setting off for home with a suitable lunch stop on the way.

 

Weather permitting we might also have to build a sandcastle while we are there !
