I was trying do fit the original Sierra wheels, they are Sierra pepper pot alloys.

 

My 2b has Sierra Pepperpot alloys fitted with no spacers & no problems... They weren't original fitment on the donor either...

I recently bought some cycle wing brackets and was advised that the lightweight brackets have the tubes on the inside of the strut whereas the 2b ones have the tubes on the outside because of the offset of the array alloys.

 

So i purchased the lightweight brackets as i am using the pepperpots at the minute which i have tried and they fit ok. Just need a bit of tweaking.

 

Cost £75.00 from lolocost.

They fit yours Dan because it has the old style brackets fitted I think the later style came out the end of 04 or the beginning of 05.
