Finding The Right Wheel Nuts For Alloy's

HI All,

 

I finally ditched the original Sierra steel wheels and managed to find a set of BBS Alloy's off e-bay (ex Peugeot 306 14").

 

They fit the 2B a treat, but I cant find a supplier to source the correct alloy wheel nuts from - Peugeot only use wheel bolts rather than nuts and Europa also could not find a match.

 

How has everyone else solved this problem - did you get the nuts from Ford or have anyone any suggested suppliers ?

Demon Tweeks certainly used to supply the correct nuts. Failing that try some of the specialist wheel places (try places that advertise wheel re-conditioning). You'll probably find these places advertise in the Max Tits magazines.

With the increased thickness of the alloys make sure that your wheel studs

have enough thread sticking through the wheel , otherwise I would change the wheel studs. p.s. my own experiance.

grp a rally studs 25p each nuts to match studs and alloys between 50p and £2
