Hi,

Robin Hood say that the car can take 205/50 * 15" I think that is right.

I'm using 195/50 * 15" I've heard that although the front arches can cope with 205 tyres, it is pretty tight, hence my decision to use 195.

The rolling radius of the wheels is important for the SVA, speedo needs to be within a certain degree of accuracy at 70mph.

Good website with loads of info about tyres.

Chris,

I have the wide cycle wings.

I have the ford offset on mine ET38, 195/50x15 wheels and tyres. These fit

under the wide cycle wings fairly central, there is a gap between the cycle

wing brackets and the tyre enough to squeeze the top of a finger in between.

The same goes for the outside edge of the cycle wing and the tyre (finger

width gap)

205 tyres should fit under the cycle wings but the gap between the brackets

and the tyre might be fairly tight with the ford offset.

What you need is offset ET35( Peugeot I think ) this should put the 205 tyres bang in the middle of the cycle wings.

The only sure way is to try them on the car.

For SVA, 205/50x15 has a slightly smaller diameter than the original tyres which would be ok as your speedo would be reading a couple of mph faster than actual.
