Rivet Distance

Is there a minumum/maximum required distance between rivets?

 

Just fitted the back panel and to get equadistance between the 2 diagonal uprights with 17 rivets I spaced them at 51.7mm - about 2 1/4 inches, this scientific approach gave my kids much amusement although the missus wasnt too amused by the amount of time I spent working it out when I could have been doing something far more productive (apparently).

 

Just want to check before I fit the rest.

Shouldn't matter too much as its not structural. But from memory the general rule is 5D pitch 2D edge distance.

Just bonded mine in with no more than 1 rivet every 3inches or so, don't want the chassis looking like swiss cheese

 

P.s got the front suspension on today
