Hi,

I've bought a 90% built S7 & have noticed that the front wheels stick out more than the rear (if you know what i mean), by up to maybe 2-3 inches each side. The tyres are the same. Is this correct? ....Seems strange to me?

Just a thought......was told it was a sierra estate dona...would this make any difference?

No exactly the same track.

It hasn’t got different wheels front/back (different offset) or wheel spacers on the front has it.

No, nothing seems different....although a mate has also recently go an S7 and his rear wishbones seen different to mine? for example, his shocks have different mountings to mine (place and type)?

Not unusual after all it is a hood and it has been said many times there not two the same as most if not all builders had there own ideas on how to do things. Or contracted upgradeitus over the winter months.

Lets have a few photos of both front and rear suspension so people can have a look

I've just been out to have a look at mine.

Standing at the front of the car I would swear that the front track is much wider than the rear. however, on taking some rough measurements (very rough) it seems that the rear track may be 1" wider than the front.

Therefore I would suggest it's an optical illusion.

Steve - the Sierra estate did have different shock mountings to those on the hatch
