First Proper Drive

Hi All,

Following the SVA, Registration and bad weather I finally got to drive my almost complete car on a good day, great fun, took pop's (82) for a spin, and the old dear (81) nearly had the block & tackle out to lift the old buggers out! but the look on their faces was worth a fortune, brilliant!

The car amazed me, handles very well although tweaks will improve this and as for performance, well, it needs more tuning but I think wheel spin in third is a good indicator! reminds me, must get to matalan for some new under garments!

Yep, I agree, looks very nice!

Your comments about getting the 'olds' in made me laugh!

I experienced the same when I took my Dad for his first ride in my Sylva Striker. He held on so tightly his knuckles went white. Then I changed up to second gear and I was being cautious as I figured I didn't need my inheritance that urgently.

Good fun as you say, it puts a smile (even if it is more of a grimace!) on most people's faces

:D :D :D

Past my SVA on Monday (3a) at the first attempt. Lovely sunny day, took the long way home. DVLA inspection next week.
