Wiring Loom

I'm ready to start trimmming down the wiring loom on my sub-k.

 

What wattage of soldering iron should I purchase, should it be it be the gun type or the rod type. Any suggestions of make?

I use ANTEX soldering irons at work, they are cheap and replacement bits are easy to get hold of, a 25Watt should be more than adequate for most soldering jobs on the car, or you could try a GAS soldering iron kit which is more portable!
