temp fitted these at weekend, have trimmed to fit ok but will the sharp edges need protecting for sva, any answers or pics greatly appreciated

I didn't cover mine as the nosecone overlaps the edge and it passed fine.

You need to fit edge trim on the circular holes where the steering gaiters pass through. Some people also put it around the hole for the rear lower wishbone mount but my SVA inspector said it wasn't needed there. The top and front edges are under the nose cose so just planish them over the tubes and they'll be fine.

I also put some edge trim on the lower edge that is bent at 90 deg. under the chassis because it is very close to the lower radiator hose and could cut into it over time. The SVA man noticed it but made no comment so I presume he was happy.

Hope these pics help, my car past the SVA last thurs so i guess that there ok.

I did also put some along the sharpe edge that is hidden behind the nose cone this was just to pretect the nose from being scrached away.
