Wanted - Ford Type 9 Gearbox, anybody out there got a good one?

What's the history on your gearbox?

 

Hi Andy,

Nasty screeching noise from that direction. Thought it was the clutch release bearing but others think not. If the engines coming out then I'd better be prepared.

The gear box came out of my S7due to me fitting a zetec with the mt75, ive never had a problem with it has run good with me no noises and selects gears with no effort.

Any idea what it would cost to get it to me in Sunderland?

 

If it's very expensive I could collect it myself.

I'll check with my boss when I'm next working at Rosyth Shipyard as I could call around for it. I think I'm due a trip soon.

Hi steve I live 3 miles from the dockyard. As to carrrige ive no idea it could be as much as £60 possibly. ive no problem with it sitting here if you wish to collect.
