mmmmm!!! good point, but you could always drive up onto a 3inch timber first. just a thought!!!!!

not sure I would trust it enough to work underneath without extra support unless there is the ability to lock with a pin.

also what stops the car just sliding off?

if you watch the first video the man in it goes around to the of side of the car and you can here if knock out the locking plate the holds the platform in the horizontal position,i would say that the platform is covered with rubber mats to prevent any slippage.
