I have a feeling I'm being a little bit thick and missing something obvious here.......I've connected up my battery to test out the electrics and was expecting the fan to switch on when I turned the ignition on however it does not!

I'm planning on sticking in a temp controller for the fan but for the purpose of the initial test I've bypassed this.

The fan definitely works so that's one thing to rule out.

It's in a zero, running a pinto and no ecu if that helps with this.

Any thoughts??

Thanks, Aidan

The fan in powered via a relay in the fuse box. You will need to ground pin 4 on the 'engine link' connector to switch the relay and turn the fan on.
