Dash Radius

The dash needs to be radiused to 19mm on the bottom edge to get thru the SVA, but how far does this radius need to extend?

I'm thinking when it gets to the horizontal this would be acceptable.

Any thoughts

I had to rectify this problem 4 days before the SVA. I used 38mm pipe lagging, I covered it with the same leather cloth as the dash and stuck to the lower dash radius. it looked the works! I wasn't too pleased i would have to use pipe lagging as i hadn't used any on the car at all but time was against me for any other design. It passed ok, no comments on it at all. But it did hinder the drivers leg movment when changing gear, so unfortunatly it had to come off after the test.

If you are still at the design stage, the lower radius must be 19mm if the edge is not flexible, if it is flexible and can be compressed the the radius can be 5mm. My raduis was 7mm but was not compressable hence the pipe lagging.

hope this helps
