2b Wish Bones

I have a problem with the bottom wish bone sliding back on the bushes under heavy braking, the wish bone rides over the shoulder of the bush. I have black soft rubber bushes,

The bushes supplied with my 2B wishbones are a relatively hard plastic material.

Is it possible that the material on your 2B has degraded in some way.

Did you build the car , how many miles has it covered, was any lubricant applied to the bushes ???

I did'nt build the car, it is Bruce Boulton's old one, its done 2500 miles and the wish bones don't look like RHS wish bones, the rubber bushes are soft to the touch, like a pencil eraser, I don't know if lubricant has been used on the bushes I've only just got It.

Having followed the links and now seen a picture of your front suspension I would suggest you contact the original owner / wishbone conversion supplier.

The visible bushes look like rubber - consider the lubrication issue to be a Red Herring
