Indicator Stalks

just a quick thought but i dont really like the look of the sierra indicator stalks on the steering column, has anyone changed them?

 

i was thinking of just a short stainless pole and remembering which way did what but I'm not sure how you could attach them, has anyone else changed them in any way? or put new ones on?

Hi, I seam to remember reading something in a car mag (Max Power or something like that) that there was a company that did alloy stalks, possibly for a Renault 5. Might be worth an Internet search!

Hi

During the build of my lad's Dax Rush, we had to modify the indicator/dip/flash facility by cutting it off and carefully drilling & tapping the soggy end and screwing in the (Dax) - supplied stalk. This is made from a bit of rod with a threaded bit in the end. Reason for the mod is to clear the paddle change for the (BEC) gearchange.
