I'm going to buy a Mondeo for the engine and ancilleries so if anyone wants anything else off it, make me an offer.

Not sure if it does, but does it have a type 9 box and are you using it if it has?

Sorry Daz. The Type 9 is a RWD box. You will need one off a Sierra etc. Mondeo is FWD.

I'm desperately after a power steering pump for a mk2 Mondeo 2.0 petrol.

 

It's a silvertop engine, but I don't know the pumps differ, I have a feeling they do.

Hi mate

 

You keep the standard distributor cap and the plug for it comes with the ECU all ready.

 

I am documenting as I go and will put together a record of my rather amaturish blunderings.

 

Best thing to do as a Newbie is to part with £12 and join the club as the quarterly Mag has loads of good bits in.

It's such a small amount for such a great club that it seems insignificant in relation to the build.
