Recovered from J plate Ford Sierra with 64,000 miles on clock Fitted with Weber 2V carbs, upgraded to K&N filter and relevant needle set. New (Ford reconditioned) water pump and sump. Has been fitted to kit car, but then not used. Turned over by hand every fortnight, teaspoon of oil into spark plug holes every 3 months. Ports taped over and spark plugs loose fitted. Complete with clutch, ECU and most of engine wiring loom. Engine mounts, including rubbers also included. Alternator included but separate. For Sale. The hard top for my old 2B. Photos show it fitted to the car in 2014. The car is now sold but the new owner doesn't want the hard top. Custom made by me, aluminium construction, opening rear window, carpet lined. No use to me now and I haven't got the heart to scrap it. It was made to fit a 2B so will only really be suitable for another 2B and the screen position might need adjusting to get it to fit. It's not just going to drop straight on. I am selling my Robin Hood Exmo chassis, as I am taking the engine and gearbox for another project. It has tie rod front suspension conversion, adjustable shocks all round. It will just need a new engine, gearbox. It has been through IVA in 2021 and is registered on D plate. For Sale £5000 ono Robin Hood 2B Plus. (Wishbone front suspension) Built by myself and passed SVA in 2007. It is correctly registered as a Robin Hood on the V5. MOT until June 27. It has covered 23000 miles and has proved to be very reliable. It is fitted with a 2.0 EFI pinto engine running the original Ford injection system breathing through a RamAir filter and four branch manifold.. Cooling is through a large capacity radiator and assisted by an electric fan, it is currently fitted with an 82 degree thermostat and 92 degree fan switch. Over heating has never been an issue. I'm unsure if to sell or not,I said last year if I didn't get the car out in 2025 I would think about selling my s7,not advertised no where not took any photo's yet ,its a pinto 2L ( tunned) twin 45s,I have to move 2 cars out the way before I can get the Robin hood out so it ruins the enjoyment of just getting in a going for a drive plus thinkingof have a conservatory,tax mot free. hi all it's with a heavy heart that I am selling my 2B kit, I know I could possibly get more for it by breaking it but I really don't have time to deal with all the parts separately !! Hi there , considering selling my robin which I inherited a number of years ago and haven't really done anything with. I had a big push with it last year , where I removed the engine to clean and paint it and wings removed and painted , the goal was to do a classic car run up here in Inverness but the night before the MOT the clutch master cylinder let go ....very annoying.
