What is a fair price for Tiger cat E1?

Hi all, 

I hope this is the correct page to ask this question! 

I am in negotiation for a Tiger cat E1 with a 2.0l pinto, and a rough idea of the spec is in the attached photo. 

Also comes with full hood and doors,  tonneau cover, as well as full spare set of wheels and tyres. 

MOT value until July 2025 with no advisories.

Just wanted to gauge if around £6k is a fair price?

I recently bought my Tiger Cat E1 for £5.5k, but yours seems to have a lot more engine work done.

As long as the chassis and cooling systems are rust-free, I’d say the price is fair.

@phaeton might be a silly question but how do I check this? On the V5 I assume? And how should it be registered?

I would expect a Tiger Cat E1 or something like that, but definitely not a Ford Sierra

You can check the MOT history. That will show what it is registered as.
