A reluctant sale of our Superspec "Britney" Built and owned from new by us, she starts first time every time and is ready to be enjoyed this summer. Unfortunately due to me working long hours and busy weekends she doesn't get used as often as she should be and is mainly polished, run to temp and given a quick run before returning to the garage, so it is time for a new owner to make the most of the good weather! Ready to turn the key and motor through the summer! Thanks both, that's what I had in mind. Great to know it can be done The rigid elbows do look more secure and as mentioned, less prone to kinking... The added bonus of more room for a boot box also makes it more appealing

Thanks for the info AndyW , it's been a great help. Mine looks exactly the same as yours. I was just concerned if one pipe ever worked loose or popped off under fuel pressure it'd be a bad day ahead with it being near electrics etc. Id seen some pumps with fixed inserts to a clip connecter on to the fuel hose and wondered if anyone had done the same to their superspec tank. Thanks again

Hi all, Do any Superspec owners out there have a quick photo or description of how your fuel lines connect to the fuel pump. Im still using the original yellow and red feed lines which just push in to the fittings on the pump. Its been fine for the last 20 years but cant help wondering if anyone has discovered a better (safer!) way of connecting them, Thanks in advance

Not an easy one to see, but the handbrake cable passes through 2 nylon guide blocks through to the middle of the seat anchorage angled cross plate, then up and around to each brake. Hope the pictures help!

I'll have to take a couple of photos of the hand brake etc tomorrow and post them for reference. It's coming up to 20yrs since we built it and I can't remember the details!

Thanks guys, hoping to lose the hair in the wind, or is it, get the wind in the hair, before the winter sets in. Shout out to Al and his mems software that helped diagnose many a faulty engine sensor

Hi all, had to share the joy that after a summer of careful resuscitation, many replacement sensors, 20yr old tyres, fluids and partial rewire, "Britney" is back on the road after 10 years rest. Sailed through the Mot so just awaiting a dry sunny day to get her out and about....

Hi Alan, it's the complete unit with sender and new seal etc, same pinouts for electrics as the old one too. I've attached the old and new (stock image) pics for comparison

Hi all, first post so apologies if it's been mentioned before. Currently resurrecting my 2005 superspec back to life after being garaged for many years. The fuel pump had seized and blew fuses on any attempt to free it etc. Fitted a replacement today and she fired up first time. If it's any help to fellow owners the details are: Stark SKFU-0410032. Length 191,. Width 120, height 120.
