  1. @Foz sounds like a plan I will aim to be at yours 08:45 / 09;00 at the latest send me the address mate
  2. I have been looking at routes and my best will be to head down A50 through stock then towards Nantwich and Wrexham rather than going to Coventry first so i will meet at Pondarosa 10:30am @Foz I think our routes may cross over somewhat let me know if you want to meet up along A50 route ?
  3. Dare I say it … the weather is looking pretty decent
  4. Hi Rich, I am very much looking forward to this I can meet at any location any time either local or in wales, my wife has never been in the zero but is actually considering this one ! Weather dependent as always
  5. Count me in sounds a great day ! (weather permitting as always)
  6. I will give it no more than 7 days before you are on here announcing your latest purchase !
  7. Hi all need some help again and it involves my worst topic those wires ! I have recently purchased a GBS zero 2017 build and a Mazda MX5 base it has halogen headlights and LED side lights in the same unit, side lights are on all the time and only one headlight works I have changed the bulb to no avail can anyone tell me where to look next and if sidelights perm on is normal and indicative of a fault ?
  8. Thanks now I know what I’m doing in the office tomorrow
  9. I ordered the gauge matcher Phaeton recommended above wired in followed instructions (to the best of my ability) now just reads full all the time, I’m presuming there is more to setting this up than I first thought https://spiyda.com/fuel-gauge-wizard-mk3.html
  10. IanS very insightful as always, I too have the same issues as well as reading full when empty and empty when full ! You mention "dampened gauge" I have done some research after reading this as it was a new term to me and it is becoming apparent that putting a capacitor in the wire from sender to gauge makes it less reactive meaning fuel sloshing is less noticeable on the gauge reading, but this opens up even more queries ! 1) what capacitor is right ? is there a simple wiring diagram/method ? any ideas on gauge reading in reverse I presume 2 wires the wrong way round on back of gauge but which 2 ?
  11. Dodgy plug to the motor bit of wiggling came back again a big relief !
  12. Need some help getting to the end of my tether ! Washer jets were not working no power to pump. So created a simple ignition feed to pump via push button switch on dash and created an earth for pump. Tried and works perfect. But now the wipers don’t work !!! They were working while I had the pump out and was sorting this but now dead completely. Are the 2 connected could something I’ve done be the cause or is this just plain bad luck ? I’ve checked all fuses all ok so now I’m left scratching my head ! Where do I go next to try and sort this ?
  13. Need some new wipers the ones on are a chrome thing looks like a full arm ? are these off any particular car ? any one got any part numbers or links etc .. ? Car is a Series 3 Robin Hood
  14. Just to close this one off the issue was insufficient power to the pump I found a fuel pump relay wiring harness on E bay ordered and installed works perfect now many thanks for everyone's help and advise greatly appreciated as always !
  15. I replaced mine on my Series 3 with Pinto recently with the ones Phil has posted fitted no problem at all
