Trying to gauge interest...... Fodhla and I got a night away in the camper last night as work has been very full on. It's a similar setup to Kerry and Sharon's Dirty Duck event. Lovely patron owned pub with good pub grub at very reasonable prices. Real ales. Camping is flat electric hook up showers toilets. £15 per night without electric and £22 with electric. Due to being next year I am not going to worry about dates as yet but you would be interested? Location is Bruce Arms Easton Royal, Pewsey SN5 9LR

The introduction of the new GDPR regulations in May this year means that we are now no longer able to include lists of local Members when we send out welcome packs. This makes it far more difficult for new members to know who may be near to them and I believe this is having a negative impact on the club as we try to organise more local meets. We already have a number of regular area meets and I have been going through the database to try and get an idea of the geographic spread of members and to try and identify other areas where it may be possible to start new ones. These don’t need to be a stand-alone event, there seems to be car shows cropping up everywhere now an…

  4. This is now just 3 weeks to go. Since moving from Stoneleigh the attendance from the Club has collapsed. Last year only 6 cars turned up, and we were all based in the North. It's quite depressing when this is probably going to be the ONLY dedicated Kit Car Show of 2026 and nobody from the Southern half of the country bothered to support it last year. And it is probably going to be the only show this year where participants are not charged to display our cars. Last year the Newark/Lincoln show was cancelled because no trade members where prepared to fund it. If we don't support it this year then this show will also likely be cancelled for the future. So i…

We are organising our 7th Dirty Duck Camping weekend for 2026. Event is open to anyone who wishes to join Sharon and myself for the weekend, we are expecting to see all the usual suspects and it would be lovely to see some new faces, The camp site is next to a Canal side pub. and Belvoir Castle is a 5 minute drive where you can get food and drinks along with visiting the Castle. The date for the event is Friday 21st May to Sunday 25th May 2026 as it’s a bank holiday weekend. We have booked pitch 3 from Thursday to Monday. Weather looking nice so tomorrow (21st) we are going to meet up at Burghley House near Stamford (PE9 3JU, https://burghley.co.uk/). All welcome if you want to toddle along, it's 12:00 and bring a picnic and a chair 😀. We usually park in the overflow car park (Main car park is a bit clinical, overflow car park is a nice field and it's free). To get there come out of Stamford for one mile along the Barnack Road (B1443). The entrance is on the right and the overflow car park is on the left just before the official car park.
