Trying to gauge interest...... Fodhla and I got a night away in the camper last night as work has been very full on. It's a similar setup to Kerry and Sharon's Dirty Duck event. Lovely patron owned pub with good pub grub at very reasonable prices. Real ales. Camping is flat electric hook up showers toilets. £15 per night without electric and £22 with electric. Due to being next year I am not going to worry about dates as yet but you would be interested? Location is Bruce Arms Easton Royal, Pewsey SN5 9LR

The introduction of the new GDPR regulations in May this year means that we are now no longer able to include lists of local Members when we send out welcome packs. This makes it far more difficult for new members to know who may be near to them and I believe this is having a negative impact on the club as we try to organise more local meets. We already have a number of regular area meets and I have been going through the database to try and get an idea of the geographic spread of members and to try and identify other areas where it may be possible to start new ones. These don’t need to be a stand-alone event, there seems to be car shows cropping up everywhere now an…

  6. Hey all, brand new to the site and brand new to owning a kit car. I'm looking for a replacement rocker cover for a Sierra N9A engine but can't find one for love nor money. Anyone had experience finding parts for this type of engine or know anywhere that would specialise in them? Thanks in advance

  7. A good forecast again for our meeting at the Church Mouse, Chester Moor, DH123RJ. Hope to see you all there and anyone who wants to come along, you are welcome to join us.

Just gauging interest. Would anyone be up for a bit of 12 bore shooting fun? There`s 3 of us so far, Please see message below from some geezer called Foz A weekday afternoon, Tues -Fri (normally quieter then) at Mickley Hall https://mickleyhall.co.uk/ which is a just outside Nantwich. There's a range of stands from easy to nigh on impossible, and we can shoot whichever we fancy. Eye, ear and head protection are recommended. Sunglasses and any hat would do & I can provide ear plugs. Rough costs 25 clays & cartridges £15 (or 50 at £30). Maximum number of members would have to be about 12 to make it manageable. See picture below during last months shoot 🤣 Let me kno…

This is a brilliant show with loads of cars, music, side stalls, acts in the arena etc. For a number of reasons we haven't had many members attend last year & 2023 but hopefully we'll get a good turn out this year. Anyone who is interested in going can you please stick a note on this post, we can then see if there is enough interest to justify asking them for a club plot. Thanks, Steve

  20. Started by alanrichey,

A cracking day today for a drive and a meet up. We decided to try a brand new venue that Nigel found on Google Earth, It was called East Carlton Country Park near Corby. That was a roughly one drive for each of us. It turned out to be a real gem, it is 102 acres of fields and woodland surrounding a derelict stately home. All the usual amenities, cafe, seats, toilets, walking trails, children's play area, scenic views etc... But the icing on the cake was an absolutely huge car park that was absolutely free to park. We talked to a park ranger who said he had never seen it full, so it will ideal for when we do a weekend meet when most car parks tend to be full. T…

  21. Started by Foz,

We are continuing to sponsor club member Aydan Hassan in the BWM Supercup Championship and it would be great if we could arrange a club meet at some of the events and he'd be more than happy to show us round and give some inside information. I'm sure Aydan will post up some information for everyone but you can find details on the BRSCC website - https://brscc.co.uk/formulae/nankang-tyre-bmw-supercup-championship/ Anyone interested in going to watch Aydan shout up and maybe we can get some meets arranged. Steve

  22. This is now just 3 weeks to go. Since moving from Stoneleigh the attendance from the Club has collapsed. Last year only 6 cars turned up, and we were all based in the North. It's quite depressing when this is probably going to be the ONLY dedicated Kit Car Show of 2026 and nobody from the Southern half of the country bothered to support it last year. And it is probably going to be the only show this year where participants are not charged to display our cars. Last year the Newark/Lincoln show was cancelled because no trade members where prepared to fund it. If we don't support it this year then this show will also likely be cancelled for the future. So i…
