Hello everyone,

I've been reviewing the locations of our London & South East area members to find a central spot for our monthly meetings.

Below, you’ll find a graph showing the top 20 counties and top 20 towns where most of our members are based.

From the data, Cobham in Surrey appears to be a convenient middle ground for the majority of us, as the area is very big.
Conveniently, Cobham is located near the M25 (Junctions 9/10), and the nearby services offer a large car park (3 hours free parking) along with plenty of food and drink options — making it an ideal meeting point.

UPDATE (29-04-2025) :
After popular demand through the forums and questionnaire sent out to members, the meeting location has been changed to:
Newland's Corner, Albury, Guildford GU4 8SE

Hi there. I have to say well done for all the research you've done and your suggestion for meets. I thought I'd just give you a bit of feedback. I live near Chichester and would be into a meet in that area you've suggested although it's nearing the edge of my comfort zone but I'm afraid I wouldn't take my car anywhere near the M25.  I really hope you get some takers though. There are a few of us in my area and I'll make sure they know about it.

I have mentioned this before but had no interest. There is a local car club based in Storrington called Sadcase. If you Google Sadcase Car Club you'll find out what it is short for. Basically any car is welcome to their meets at various pubs and events. Out of interest there is a meet at Amberley Museum this Wednesday 23rd April at 5pm after closing. We pay £2 entrance which goes to the museum. Huge mix of cars but it would  be nice to see more Robins. I know it's a long way for most members though. Hope you don't mind me mentioning it.

Thank you so much, David, for your fantastic feedback and thoughtful suggestions! That’s exactly what I was hoping this post would spark—getting the ball rolling.

Given the size of the London & South East Area, which covers 12 counties, it’s understandably a challenge to find a single meeting point that works for everyone. My long-term goal is to host one meeting per county to ensure broader accessibility, along with an annual event for the entire region.

I'm very open to ideas and always up for finding creative solutions—so please don’t hesitate to reach out with venue suggestions and location ideas from across the South East. I’ll do my best to bring something together that works for as many people as possible.

Apologies for butting in, especially as I don't have my kit any more, but I thought I'd recommend a couple of better meet points:

1. Denbies vineyard

2. Newlands Corner.

Both have large, free car parks, toilets and cafes and nice roads in the area.

Apologies?!

Because you haven’t got a kit car any more it does not mean you should not participate or your suggestions carry less weight…

Thank you for your suggestion and please stay in touch!

It looks like weather wise it will be a very nice and warm Sunday! 😎
I am looking forward seeing you at Newland's Corner, Albury, Guildford GU4 8SE

I will also be going to Princess Royal Car Show in Guildford Rd, Runfold, Farnham GU10 1NX (18:00 to 21:00) so if anyone wants to come along after our car meet for a BBQ and more cars, is more that welcome!
Please note that for the Princess Royal Car Show, you need to get a FREE ticket from the below link as you won't be able to park/exhibit your car without it.
