North East Sunday Run - 31st May 2009

Hi All,

How about meeting up at 12 Noon this Sunday at the Marsden Grotto? We could all rendezvous in the cliff top car park then drive on a little south to Seaburn for Fish & Chips? I propose we hang about at Marsden for an hour for ice cream and to let everyone arrive.

I tried a 99 with monkeys blood (rasberry sauce) at lunchtime today. Yummy.

 

Plenty of good photo opportunities along that stretch of coast (North East magazine report).

 

Don't forget your bucket & spade, sun cream, tartan picnic rug, polishing cloth & camping chairs. I know an excellent spot at Souter Park for a lazy afternoon. I expect we will be mobbed by petrolheads.

But it was FUN wish I had the camera, pulled into the car park last night and she said oh theres a kit car, there's another & another, YOU B*****D you new!

i've done it loads, and you are correct,the car will sound great

back off, create a gap, 2nd gear, floor it ,woohoo

although they are tending to frown on this type of behaviour now

 

speed cameras and flashing warnings telling you to slow down

 

in earlier days the impreza club used to have a tunnel run, sad some may say but a hoot none the less

 

MONKEYS BLOOD that seals it then, a couple of weeks ago none available from whitley bay to newbiggin by the sea , most annoyed!!
