2b Or Ss

I am not clear on the difference between the SS and 2B.

I can see from the RH website what is included in each kit, however the technical details on the chassis differences are not so clear.

It seems that the SS is "more complete" however I intend to use different spindles and brakes, and get a rebuilt rear end which mitigates the included extra components in the SS kit. I also intend to import a front cut from a Honds S-2000 as a donor for the build.

What are the pros and cons of each model and what does the list recommend as the way to go

Thanks for all the help in getting this far, as the technical response from RH is less than complete.

Not having gone over a SS with a fine tooth comb I may be incorrect but my understanding is that the SS chassis is basically the old DOHC chassis. Again I haven't seen one of these up close either...

I believe the only differences are a wider transmission tunnel to make room for an MT75 box & and a drop in the floorpan height to make the Recaro style seats fit properly on runners & not be too tall to see over the screen...

Prepared to be shot down in flames though..... :D
