It Goes

God am I happy :D IT GOES :D

I thinned out the wiring loom to the bare minimum to get the engine started. The rest of it was just the wrong shape so it all got removed!

There's still lots in it that I don't need so I'll thin it some more and I'll worry about ancilaries later. Also, I'll have to get the wires inside the car

But what a great noise

Only problem I have is that the exhaust (standard with the kit) sits about 100mm away from the side pannel at the back. I've tried turning the engin but no joy. I'm going to cut it and weld it into a better possition where it's not under any strain, just after I've started it up again of course!

good for you guy,

my subk, still needs a fuel pump & starter motor (cant find any at local scrappies), otherwise all electrics are in and working fine, so hoping to get it roaring soon, but working on brakes etc in the meantime.

I've got 2 brand new fuel pumps. one for injection, and one for carbs. your welcome to either, if you're passing by either orpington, kent, or basildon, essex. If you really want them, don't reply on here, but ring me 07956 944840.

Paul.
