Just wondernig how much of the snap on edge finisher people fitted round the outside of their cycle wings and what they used to keep in on with? <_<

Does it need to go around the full perimeter of the GRP?

Piccies would be lovely (especially those which have passed SVA) :p

Cheers

Come on! it's not that hard! <_< run a piece of string around the whole edge of the fibreglass, multipy by 2 (2 wings.........) add a bit for good luck, then get your wallet out.

Oh and by the way, it just pushes on, that's why it's called 'snap on' edging.

  ;)

Mine goes full perimiter of the GRP, and I've cut none of the GRP off at all. Some people take their cycle wing brackets THROUGH the GRP, and this will affect what edges are left for edge trim.

Yeh sorry thats what i meant, sort of, i know i didnt explain it very well. ;)

Does the inside of the wing need to be covered? I have cut recessess for the wing brackets so the wing fits better / more flush with the bracket. These are about 1" - 2" into the wing and far too tight for the snap on finisher to mould into. :o

Just thought id ask about putting a bit of evostick round the edge of the wing as most of the RH fixing tips seem to come lose / fall of in a couple of weeks unless welded, bonded or the like. :(

Hope this is a bit clearer

Cheers
