Mot Befor Registration

I know that you can drive your un-registord car to a pre booked registration inspection and to a pre booked SVA appiontment because they are mandatory, i.e. you have to get the car there.

 

But as you now don't have to have an MOT to get your car registod, are you legely alowed to drive an un-regesterd car to the MOT test?

I've been told by the local DVLA office that you can (but don't forget to insure it!)

You can. The legalities are all to do with you not having a tax disk displayed. You can drive an untaxed vehicle to a pre-booked appointment for inspection or repair work.
