Exhaust Paint

I'm looking for help and suggestions regarding exhaust paint

My exhausts are painted steel and obviously any standard paint blisters and burns off leaving bare steel which starts to surface rust spoiling the look of the car

Can anybody help regarding an appropriate black paint that would work

You can get very high temperture paint from most car supplies places like Halfords, or failing that try your local fireplace showroom.

I my motocross days I used to use stove paint. I worked really well and was hardy enough to withstand the elements and constant change in temperature when on a motocross track. This was many years ago but may be worth investigating.

There is a company listed in the back of the 'Car and Car Conversions' mag called Ceramacoat (from memory) who coat the entire exhaust inside and out with a ceramic. Wont blister, chip or peel. No idea of price but would probably last forever.
