Will Other Ford Ignition Switch/locks Fit The Sierra?

hi all, i have a sierra steering column minus the keys

Do any other ford tumblers fit, say from an Escort/Fiesta/Granada?

Take the barrel to ford and they can rebuild it for another key but the cheapest way is to get another one from a scrap yard if you can find one with a key. You will need a sharp centre punch and a hammer to get the tamper proof bolts started.

Be careful to get the right barrel. My series three has the old slot type lock and barrel (mk 1 Sierra i think). The later barrels with the round key don't fit the column. I ended up buying a new barrel from Ford. If the round key barrel is OK I think I have one with a key. Let me know if any good ... will post for small consideration.
