What about meeting up at Hartside Summit Cafe tomorrow at 11AM? I'll be setting off from Washington and driving up Weardale. We could have a cuppa and make a plan. Sunday I'm planning to go with Kenny Brough to the Lakes. Planning on doing a bit of hill walking so bring your boots! Cannot find anywhere to stop Saturday night in the Lakes, so the roads are going to be busy.

Did you hear me pass then? Loads of bikers out today, as usual passing cars on the brows of hills, blind corners, double white lines etc. Mr Plod was parked at Hartside summit cafe waiting to pick up the bits.

Ahoy! seen ye too ! was in the cafe at Cowshill, lovely exhaust note up that hill !

 

Went over at 3 ish, had a look for you at the top - no sign , plenty of reckless bike action mind, saw a dead 'un there last wknd, very sad, no place for the faint hearted - aye well, stuck here in Dalston playing about with my Webers, wish i could meet you at Holker , be safe,

Steve. Sorry I missed you. I stopped at the Summit for an hour, enjoying the view, drinking tea, eating bacon, answering questions. Came home via Hexham to avoid Stanhope show. Delortos make a great noise eh.
