Interesting...these US based guys see the ebay ads by Coveland and think the monocoque idea is a good one (easy build and no welding required). They entertain the idea for about a week or two, and then (if they do their research) they figure out it isn't as easy as they thought, especially w/ all the strengthening....and they quietly go away...never to be heard of again!!!

There’s nothing new in that Scot it’s been happening over here for years and not just with hoods. Gina (ex RHE) told me that she estimated that 70% of 2B's sold were not finished by the original purchaser and I suspect allot of those are still stuck in the back of sheds. You can tell this by the fact that the odd unfinished sliding pillock and even S7's and Exmo's come up on eBay every now and then.
