This has been a long time in the works... Bought my part build 2B sliding pillar last April and after much thought I decided to replace the sliding pillar with something a bit more interesting...

The camber still needs fiddling with to get it right..its a bit off and wont budge for some reason...and I dont have a steering rack yet, but here are the results...

Just going to strip it all down so I can paint it!

Looking good!

Whos shocks have you used ?

What open / closed lengths ?

What diameter?

What poundage on the springs ? 300lbs no doubt?

So many questions

Guess what I am doing at the moment.

Yes, the garage is a total mess...but I can happily say that 90% of the toys in there are mine, so its my own fault :p

Its a bit of a juggling game though everytime you want to get something out...

The shocks are 1.9" protech shocks with adjustable dampers and 1/22 rose joints....I currently have 400lb springs on there...simply because thats what the shocks came with...

Once the engine is in I will re-assess the spring ratings...

I am going to have to have quite stiff suspension as otherwise the car is going to ride way to low!

I cant remeber the lengths of the shocks off hand...

Since undertaking this task I have learned so much about suspension design I wish I could roll back the clock and do the entire thing again...Build my own wishbones using rose joints to make it infinately adjustable, and actually think about things a bit more...

It should work as it is, but you can always improve!

If you have any specific questions...PM me :)

Take it easy.
