Air Filters

There has been some posts lately on air filters and how poor the pancake filters are. Can anyone recommend a good filter for a twin choke?

Does the tall K&N fall in the category of a pancake?

the foam dome shape filters from piper cross fitt ok and are a reasonable price.

don't look outstanding but allow a free flow of air, and don't need the complicated cleaning procedure as the K&n do.

Cost me about £30 from the Stoneliegh show last year.

I also bought a Pipercross filter. the reaon I chose it was because the filter was entirely made of foam and will deform if it fouls the bonnet!
