Ancillary Electrics Wiring Diagram

I've put a PDF of my electrics on my WWW site. it doesn't include the ignition. It's just the bare bones to get me to SVA. I'll add other bits later as I put them on the car.

The horn, hazzard lights, side lights and fog light will work without the ignition, this is a requirement of the SVA, there is a connector for a warning buzzer if you accidently leave the side lights on.

 

Everything else only works with the ignition on.

How does the light warning buzzer work ?

On my tin-top it's wired into the driver's courtesy light switch.

I suppose you could have a pressure switch built into the drivers seat like Volvo had for the seat belt light.

It basicly senses the sidelight power and the ignition power, if the lights are on and the ig is off then the buzzer sounds.

 

The connector on the diagram will plug into a small curcuit that I havn't done yet.
