Hole In Rear Wheel Arch

CAF

Recommended Posts

I have just found a small hole in my rear wheel arch, next to the stone guard!

My car is British Racing Green, what is best to repair it with, is there any filler thats already prepared in British Racining Green or is that a silly question?

Afraid that is a silly question, but we all have hopes of an easy life. I would use normal body filler and paint. But if you haven't already covered the underside of all the fibreglass panels with a thick layer of underseal do so now. Stones hitting the underside is the most likely cause of the hole in the first place.

Actually you can get pigments to mix with polyester resins from company's like CFS, so you could mix some in with the filler to make it green. I doubt you'd ever be able to get it to remotely match though, so I agree with Eric, painting is the only sensible way.
