  1. Thanks will check this.
  2. Met to add it always fires with a squirt of Easy Start!
  3. Thanks some good ideas to check out.
  4. Just started happening, car will run for a few minutes or even up to 10 or 15 then cuts out and then will not start. When it cuts out the engine just stops, no missing, or running like ad dog with 3 legs, just smoothly stops?. I wondered if it was to do with the fuel vapour separator, but beginning to think its not that from what I have read. Any ideas guy would be greatly appreciated. I thought I have sorted this 3 times and ended up pushing it home each time (I'm 74 and getting my ear bent from my wife who wants it gone), I currently can only thrust it to go round the block.
  5. I have a Robin Hood S7 ( 2 lt Pinto from a Sierra) which starts then cuts out, will always fire on easy start. I think it's the fuel vapour separator ,any suggestions where I can source one.
  6. Thanks
  7. Hi , Can you use rivnuts on the plastic car body? Thanks Chris
  8. Thanks will have a look.
  9. Thanks I will Jack it up this morning and have a good look, but when I looked earlier there was only the cable disappearing through the sloping panel?
  10. Hi I have just got around to replacing/repairing my broken handbrake cable. The problem I have is that I did not build the car so I am unsure of where and how to get at it? I thought that the access would be underneath the boot/storage area, but I have stripped it all that down only to find there is no access or signs of the handbrake cable or fittings. There also does not appear to be any access via the central tunnel, what am I missing here? Many thanks for any pointers, CAF (Chris)

    S7 Handbrake Cable

I have taken a few pics but it does not tell you much. I have taken off the break drum and found that cable is broken where the nipple that holds the cable in place on the brake shoe. As I did not build the car not quite sure how easy this is going to be to get at the handbrake cable.
