I am thinking that i build a megasquirt ecu, thats the biggest expense.

 

Then turbo the zetec, i have access to suitable bits and pieces, and it means i can retain my inlet manifold and throttle body.

 

Does anyone know what suitable injectors there are that will be a direct swap for the blacktop zetec, or if the oe injectors will flow enough?

 

I think this will get me the biggist bang per buck, and be quite interesting.

 

I need to do some planning.

I think i might try and find a smaller alternator though, that got to be worth fish, chips and peas twice!!!!

There used to be someone post on here with a turbo zetec....

 

Won't you have to lower CR on the engine in order to turbocharge it?? Bike Throttle bodies will be cheaper than a turbo!!

that was bejay with the turbo zetec, he's sold his hood now, but has still got the engine, not sure what he is putting it in, some ford tintop i think.
