New Engine For Our 2b

Has anyone fitted a 2l twin cam 8 valve ford engine into a robin hood ??

The engine is from a J reg Sierra GLX.

From what i can make out, it will fit no problem, the question i have is about getting a new exhaust manifold. I would ideally like another stainless system. The original manifold on the car is a two into one system, as the exhaust ports on the head seem very close, the exhaust is also on the other side of the engine. Does anyone know where or if I can get a new manifold for this engine.

Any ideas or tips anyone might have about this engine change would be much appreciated.

Depends what Robin Hood car it is...

 

The DOHC engine won't fit the standard 2b without serious work to the chassis

I fitted a 2L DOHC engine in my 2B, it's a bit of work but can be done.
