went to a track day this morn"in, freind took his newly built MK blackbird 1100, well it was a full house and we could"nt get in ( crap, was look foward to it ) so we went for a coastal blast of about 100 miles, was the first time i had the hood up against a bike engine car, and it held it ground very well i thought, the MK was quicker of the mark to about 60, (2 to 3 car lenght ) but the torque of the pinto helped mid range and top end, They are quicker (bike power) , but not by that much. i did find that the extra weight of the hood helped it in the corners (they were fast ones, ton+) were the MK was abit more jumpy and twitchy, im still smileing, what a great day. im stick"in to a pinto
