Changing The Wheel Offset

Got my set of 6 x 14 Two Gates wheels ( Minilite look a likes) and even with an inner rim the mounting face of 4 3/4 inches the outer rim is just visible from the top of the wing.

This is with the suspension hanging.

So do i have 5mm taken off the mounting face while there are no tyres on or do i just get tyres on the rims and make up some spats for the SVA if they still stick out a few mm.

when you put it on its wheels it will stick out even more.. (i think)

 

why not sva with a different set of wheels

 

i am sure we can sort out a set of 13 or 14 inch to get you through

 

P.S. i now have the sva pad for the steering wheel (cheers alister)

I've got a set of sierra "pepperpot" style wheels with tyres you can have for the SVA if you want.

Yes to both Gavinc and Bentley, I will get the tyres on the Minilites and set up the front wheel arches then use your kind offers of wheels and tyres for SVA.
