Hi guys

 

Any one had 1st hand experience of these?

Had a home made set in the 70's for the Escort but I think technology has moved on since then! :D

 

By the way I hope to buy so no gazumping!!!!!!!

Not used that one but used something similar in a race car. Made it much easier to hear. Dan :)

I don't know anything about them, but it looks like there are tons of them on ebay, and you might think about getting the micro ones that you can use w/ helmets, combined w/ noise cancelling technology. Good noise cancelling headsets work very well these days.

Be aware that some of these things not only amplify your voice but also background noise.

 

You will end up with damaged hearing, I have that damage thanks to lousy kit supplied by MOD over the years

Sorry John I didn’t hear that. :yahoo:

 

Your right there John in the 50s and 60s we never had ear defenders and doing starter crew on cartridge start jets not only did ears hurt through the noise but your whole body shook. So yes like you I’m top end deaf anything above 10 khz may even be a lot lower by now as that was 11 years ago

That is the best that can be said for gunfire damage that started for me on Her Majesty's War Canoe Grenville. :search:
