Output was too low for the high inputs then. (best to be on the safe side though....)

Now just mess around with it a little so at max volume on your Ipod your just short of getting some distortion on the speakers. Then crank it down to a sensible level before the neighbours come out looking for a 17yr old with under car neons to linch !!!

Will do. Just in the process of installing it all in the car.

Currently figuring out the best way to neatly route all the cabling.

I want to keep the power leads and phonos separate.

The Amp (L69AY) & Speakers (L22AT) were from Maplins.

I also bought the Cable Kit.

The Earth Lead doesn't have the right terminals and the Speakers are supplied with wiring anyway, so I won't be using it all - Doh!

I'll draw up a diagram and put it on my website in due course.

All finished now.

Took quite a long time running the wiring all neat & tidy.

Tunes are excellent up to about 50 - 60mph. Above that though, other noises start to take over :D

Pretty much as expected and happy with the end result.

Wiring Diagram attached - Quite straightforward.
